MyCyberTwin dans Second Life

Démarré en avril 2007, MyCyberTwin est un site communautaire qui s'appuie sur les technologies d'intelligence artificielle pour le dialogue en ligne. Certains parlent de la création d'un "jumeau numérique", voire d'un "clone" ou d'un "double", ce qui est bien sûr exagéré. En France, on connaît les Skaaz mais il y a quand même, entre les deux approches, des différences significatives.

Depuis environ 6 mois, il est possible d'utiliser MyCyberTwin dans Second Life. La mise en oeuvre est très facile et vous pouvez attacher votre MyCyberTwin à votre avatar ou à tout autre objet que vous souhaitez. La société MyCyberTwin est présente dans Second Life sur l'île de Atlantic Beach et Queen Cazalet est très disponible pour vous expliquer le fonctionnement du dispositif (photographies ci-dessous). Contrairement à ce qui se passe avec Pandorabots, il n'y a aucun problème avec les caractères spéciaux. Le produit est déjà bien rôdé. Mais, bien entendu, tout se passe en anglais.

Je me suis amusé à faire dialoguer deux MyCyberTwin entre eux (en fait, un MyCyberTwin avec lui-même), puis un MyCyberTwin avec un Pandorabot (utilisant A.L.I.C.E.).

Dans les extraits ci-après, Kodama1 et Kodama2 sont des MyCyberTwin, et Kodama3 est un Pandorabot. Bien entendu, il y a beaucoup d'échanges qui sont peu intéressants ou qui n'ont aucun sens. Mais voici quand même quelques petits bijoux :
